The Design

Nº 2 SERVING BOARD is a functional design object created to beautifully display culinary delights and serve a feast for the eyes in any kitchen or dining room. Each piece is handcrafted from carefully selected solid wood sourced from sustainably-managed forests in Germany.

The board’s profile features rounded edges which continue through the handle, resulting in a Ø25 mm grip. The handle is comfortable to hold and designed to prioritise comfort and functionality — the placement of one's index finger under the board provides stability while three fingers grip through the hole. Produced in small batches, each piece is assigned a batch and edition number upon completion.

Nº 2 SERVING BOARD is available in a variety of different woods and food-safe oil finishes, all of which comply with the DIN 53 160 & Norm EN 71-3 standards. A distinctive sanding technique is applied to ensure the boards will remain smooth after being used and washed regularly.

The boards are made to last and promise to age beautifully with use by developing a patina over time.
